Meet the newest member of our team, Clare Longbottom!
From her interest in Formula 1, to helping customers with their social value, we sat down with the newest member of our team, Clare Longbottom, to find out how she is settling in here at Loop.
Hi Clare, firstly, welcome to the team! Please could you tell us about your job as Account Manager?
My role is very client focused. It involves growing relationships and providing a first-class customer relationship management service. Promoting Loop as a product and all the benefits it can bring to help support customers on their social value journey.
Fantastic! What were your initial thoughts of Loop and The 55 Group?
Everyone was very welcoming and friendly with a very positive outlook on the group as a whole. I was impressed with the future plans and goals for the group and I’m excited to see what this brings going forwards.
What did you do before joining the company? Any skills that you think will benefit you in your new role?
I have spent the last 15 years in the IT sector, working with customers to deliver IT solutions that help companies collaborate in a faster and more efficient way. I’m a real advocate for delivering great customer service and always strive to make sure the customer’s expectations are continuously achieved.
How about when you’re not at work, what do you get up to in your spare time?
You’ll generally find me outdoors with my family, we enjoy spending our time together at weekends and we are very often out walking, cycling or playing football. When we get chance to sit down, we like to catch up on the Formula 1, we all support different drivers so it can get very interesting.
What part of your role have you enjoyed so far? Any tasks / projects that stand out?
As Account Manager, it’s important that I establish good relationships with our clients and so far, I have enjoyed getting to know them and understanding how Loop assists them with their social value reporting. It has also been fascinating to learn the whole concept of social value.
To finish off, what’s the next step in your job that you wish to achieve?
We are working with a large client at the moment on a reseller agreement and I’m really looking forward to progressing that and onboarding more customers.
